Rob is “the consummate plantsman”. He has long experience in the field, having owned Belrose Nursery in Sydney for many years before leaving the city for the bush. Now, as well as growing and tending to plants at his Gloucester nursery, Rob designs landscapes in Gloucester, Sydney and anywhere in between.
In the extreme Gloucester climate, which can be below zero in Winter and up to high-40s in Summer, Rob grows, trials and tests plants to see if they will survive variable weather patterns.
He specializes in growing ornamental grasses, perennials and succulents of excellent quality. All plants are grown outdoors as nature intended and are frost hardy.
Woodside Plants and Design has transitioned to selling plants online, particularly those that are inspiring, beautiful and a little bit hard to find.
